Meet our Interns

Our interns volunteer to work with Classics Alive Foundation coordinating the Ambassador outreach programs, helping with projects in areas such as social media, project coordination, photography, video, video editing, public relations, web research, office help ... or whatever you are interested in. Get community service credit for your school as well as building up your resume.

Sarah Kave, cellist, is our Senior Intern in charge of the Classics Alive Ambassador Program. She began studying cello at age 5 and has soloed with the CSUN Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, the Debut Orchestra and Orange County Collective Orchestra. She won the Discovery Prize sponsored by the Young Musician's Foundation (YMF), Grand prize of Satori Strings, Concert Artists International Virtuoso Competition and Great composers competition. She is a scholarship recipient of the CSUN orchestra,  Los Angeles City Elementary School Music Association, Pasadena Conservatory of Music, Young Musician's Foundation and the Clarice Chaplin Music Scholarship. 

Aaron Kwan, 15, helps organize and run Ambassador Concerts. He began piano at age 5 and currently studies with Agatha Hou. He has received several winners awards including MTAC Branch Festivals, CAPMT State, SYMF, Classics Alive, John Child Walker, Los Angeles Young Musician International, Lansum International, Concert Artist International and Elite International. He has also received scholarship awards from Steinway Society Of Riverside County Festival Awards, Young Musicians Foundation, David Weiss Memorial Award, and John Child Walker Ruth Dare Memorial Award. In his free time, he enjoys doing math, debate, reading, and swimming.

Bianca Serban, piano, helps us with administrative office functions and artistic projects.

Hannah Guan, harpist is a sophomore in high school in Arizona. Starting harp at the age of 9, Hannah has appeared in numerous ensembles, solo recitals, as well as competitions.
